Meet your handyman

Hi, I'm
Vincent.

My name is Vincent Manno. I started as a commercial painter in 2017, and spent four years under a mentor who taught me everything from drywall to door frames. I've been running Tampa Handyman myself for over four years now, and every job goes through my hands.

My mentor wasn't just a guy who fixed things. He spent four years showing me why the details matter: why a door sticks, why grout cracks, why a caulk line looks good or doesn't. That kind of apprenticeship is rare these days, and it's the foundation of how I work.

Since going out on my own, I've handled everything from a single squeaky door to full deck rebuilds. I've taken courses in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry because I want to be the person who can say yes to your whole list, not just part of it.

I use professional-grade tools and materials I trust. Not because they're flashy, but because they let me do better work in less time. That saves you money, and the repair lasts longer.

When I show up at your door, you're getting the same person every time. No crew rotation, no subcontractor you've never met. Just me, my tools, and the commitment to get it done right.

When I'm not fixing things, you might find me hiking, cooking something new, or spending time with my family. I care about this community, and that's why I treat every job like it's at my own house.

Real Tampa projects

Project
case studies

Every project tells a story. Here's what the customer needed, what I did, and how it turned out. No stock photos, no exaggerations.

Exterior Porch Column and Trim Repair - Tampa Handyman project example
South Tampa

Exterior Porch Column and Trim Repair

What the customer needed

A homeowner noticed deteriorating trim around their front porch columns. Florida humidity and rain had rotted the original wood, and they were concerned about structural damage underneath.

What I completed

Removed the deteriorated trim and inspected for hidden damage underneath. Replaced the affected material with PVC trim boards that won't rot in Florida weather. Sealed all joints with exterior-grade caulk and painted the repair to match the existing color. The porch looks like new and will hold up for years.

Deck Restoration and Refinishing

What the customer needed

A family's backyard deck had weathered badly after several Florida summers. The stain had faded, boards were splintering, and they wanted to make the space usable again for entertaining.

What I completed

Pressure-washed the entire deck surface, sanded rough spots, and replaced two boards that had started to split. Applied a premium semi-transparent stain that protects against UV and moisture. The deck went from an eyesore to the family's favorite gathering spot.

Kitchen Cabinet Hardware Update

What the customer needed

A homeowner wanted to modernize their kitchen without a full renovation. The old cabinet knobs were dated and several drawer slides were sticking or broken.

What I completed

Removed all existing knobs and pulls, filled and touched up the old holes, and installed new brushed nickel hardware throughout. Replaced three broken drawer slides and adjusted hinges on four cabinet doors that weren't closing properly. The kitchen looks refreshed in a single afternoon.

Drywall Repair and Whole-Room Repaint

What the customer needed

A tenant had moved out of a rental property leaving several large holes in the walls and scuffs throughout. The owner needed the unit ready for a new tenant within a week.

What I completed

Patched three major holes with new drywall, mudded, textured, and blended the repairs to match the surrounding walls. Then painted the entire unit in a fresh neutral color, including baseboards and door frames. The unit was show-ready in two days.

TV Mount with Full Cable Concealment before - Tampa HandymanBEFORE
TV Mount with Full Cable Concealment after - Tampa HandymanAFTER
Palma Ceia

TV Mount with Full Cable Concealment

What the customer needed

A homeowner wanted their 65-inch TV mounted above the fireplace with no visible wires. They also needed a soundbar mounted below and all cables routed through the wall.

What I completed

Mounted the TV with a full-motion bracket rated for the weight, routed HDMI and power cables inside the wall through a built-in cable management path, and mounted the soundbar below. No visible wires, clean installation, and the homeowner can still pull the TV out to access connections if needed.

Town 'n' Country

Rental Property Turnover Punch List

What the customer needed

A property manager needed a full turnover for a rental unit between tenants. The list included leaky faucets, a broken blinds, damaged drywall, loose door handles, and a toilet that kept running.

What I completed

Fixed both bathroom faucets, replaced the flapper and fill valve on the running toilet, installed new blinds, patched and painted the drywall damage, tightened or replaced four door handles, and re-caulked the kitchen sink. Everything was done in a single full-day visit so the unit was ready for the next tenant.
